If your company proceeds with a Loan Guarantee (Fast Lane), the financier makes the credit decision and applies to Finnvera for the guarantee on your behalf through the electronic service. Your company does not need to contact Finnvera directly.

Finnvera’s decision is made through automated decision-making, and your financier will contact you.

For products under the Fast Lane service model, Finnvera’s financing decision is always based on automated decision-making.

Automated decision-making is based on information entered into the Lender Service and information retrieved from Finnvera’s information systems and the systems of external data service providers in the form in which the information exists in those systems at the time of application.

Following Finnvera’s positive financing decision, your financier will contact you and request the debtor’s signature on Finnvera’s guarantee documentation. The loan guaranteed by Finnvera can be drawn down once the financier has brought the guarantee into force and received a separate notice of entry into force. Finnvera will charge the company a handling fee and a guarantee commission starting from the day following the entry into force of the guarantee.

If Finnvera’s decision is negative, Finnvera will provide the company with information about the reason for the negative decision.
