This accessibility statement applies to Finnvera's website at www.finnvera.fi and was published on 22 September 2020. The statement was updated on 17 April 2024. The website's accessibility has been assessed by the website’s technical service provider and Finnvera. We have utilised applications intended for the assessment of accessibility in the evaluation.
Accessibility status of the website
The Finnvera.fi website largely fulfils the accessibility criteria levels A and AA as required by law (WCAG 2.1). The website has some accessibility defects, which are described in greater detail below. We will continue to monitor and develop the accessibility status of the website.
Content or functions which are not yet accessible:
- The "Comparing payment methods" section of the "Export payment methods" page has not been implemented fully accessibly. For example, links are missing text alternatives. (2.4.4, 2.4.9, 4.1.2)
- A few pages have an empty container element (1.3.1)
- Some element IDs are not unique. This issue concerns icons and does not affect the functionality of the site. (4.1.1.)
- On some pages, the order of heading levels may be incomplete. (1.3.1)
- The website contains PDF files that do not meet the accessibility requirements. Incomplete files will be replaced as they are remedied.
Content not within the scope of legislation:
- Office software files (e.g. doc, pdf) which were published before 23 September 2018 and are not needed for accessing the online service.
- Video or audio recordings which were published before 23 September 2020.
- Files prepared by external parties that have not been produced by Finnvera itself.

Accessibility statement of the Finnveras online service
This accessibility statement applies to the service https://online3.finnvera.fi/CustomerPortal/ and was prepared/updated on 22 May 2023. The service is governed by the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires public online services to be accessible.
The accessibility of the service has been assessed by an external expert organisation.
Accessibility status of the digital service
Meets accessibility requirements with minor deviations.
Non-accessible content
Management: Using the additional information section with the keyboard is not possible in all resolutions
Non-accessible content and its shortcomings:
- The implementation platform uses ready-made components as additional information sections. When on a mobile device, certain parts of the long additional information section generate a sidebar for viewing the content. This sidebar is not accessible with the keyboard
- Accessibility requirements that are not met: 2.1.1 Keyboard
Management: Visible focus is not implemented in all sections of the service
Non-accessible content and its shortcomings:
- The colour of the focus is too similar in the application’s transition functions (forward and back) to the button itself, making the focus difficult to see. In addition, in some of the sections of the application, the focus is not visible or has a different colour than in other parts of the application.
- Accessibility requirements that are not met: 2.4.7 Focus visible
