Team Finland network launched

Published date

The Team Finland network began its operations abroad on February 1st 2013. The Team Finland network consists of 72 teams around the world which bring together all Finnish authorities, publicly funded organisations and other key parties with ties to Finland. Each team has a work programme and a designated coordinator with information on the network's local activities and services.

A Team Finland website is available at team.finland.fi. The pages provide information on activities and events related to Finland's external economic relations, contact details for the Team Finland network, and a gateway to the services offered by the participating organisations.

The Team Finland network promotes external economic relations, boosts the country's brand abroad, assists in the internationalisation of business, and attracts investments in Finland. At the heart of the network are three ministries – Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture – together with publicly funded organisations and other Finnish networks abroad, all operating under the ministries' guidance. The Team Finland network is steered by a group chaired by the Prime Minister.
