FAQ – Invoices

Contact your electronic invoicing operator. The operator will do the necessary changes at TIEKE. A list of electronic invoicing operators can be found at verkkolaskuosoite.fi.

If you have IBAN- or TE-ID or your use multiple qualifiers in your EDI-ID or your electronic invoicing address is secret, please notice that you have to inform us these addresses. Please contact us through our online service.  

If you have an electronic invoicing address with an organization number and you still received a paper invoice, electronic invoicing has failed. Please check that the electronic invoicing address and your operator information are up to date in TIEKE (verkkolaskuosoite.fi). If your address has changed and been updated on TIEKE, you will receive your next invoice as an electronic invoice.

An electronic voice can be ordered by a private person or a sole trader if the business name includes the person's first and last name. You can order an electronic invoicing in your online bank based on your customer number. You can find your customer number on the next paper invoice from Finnvera. After you have paid the invoice, your online bank may suggest that you activate the electronic invoice or you can order it manually.

Only a sole trader and a private individual can receive an e-invoice. E-invoices are ordered based on the customer number found at the top right of the invoice. Check that the customer number has been entered correctly for the e-invoice order; note that the e-invoice order can not be done based on the financing or decision number. If the customer number has been entered incorrectly, delete the e-invoice order and create a new one with the correct customer number. If the number is correct and you still do not get an e-invoice from Finnvera, please contact your bank.

You can inform your invoicing address via our online service.

An e-invoice can be ordered by a private person or a sole trader if the business name includes the person's first and last name.

Finnvera collects the invoicing fee regardless of whether the customer receives the invoice by post or electronically. The invoicing fee is in our service price list. With the signature of the promissory note or guarantee document, the customer undertakes to pay the fees specified in Finnvera's current service price list.

Finnvera does not provide mobile invoices.

Invoices are distributed either by Posti or by Jakeluyhtiö Suomi. You will identify a letter distributed by Posti as follows: Corporate letters delivered by Posti have the Posti Oy and PRIORITY, ECONOMY or POSTI GREEN markings. If the letter has been delivered by Posti, you can write “delivered to a wrong address” on the envelope and return it to the nearest Posti mailbox.

If it has been distributed by Jakeluyhtiö Suomi (JYS), contact JYS customer service to receive a return envelope which you can use to send the letter back to JYS free of charge. For instructions on getting a return envelope, see the Jakeluyhtiö Suomi website.

Intrum always delivers payment reminders as paper mail.

If you cannot pay the invoice on the due date, please contact us as early as possible. Contact us before the invoice is due via online service (>Apply for changes to an existing loan) or send a message via online service (> Messages). We will contact you to discuss the options.

After the due date, we will charge interest for the overdue instalment and a fee will be charged for the reminders we send. You can find the collection costs in our service price list.

If, despite the payment reminders or the demand for payment, we do not receive a payment of the receivable that has fallen due or if other arrangements are not made concerning the payment of the receivable that has fallen due, Intrum initiates legal collection on Finnvera's commission. In legal recovery, we terminate all the funding we have granted and the matter proceeds through the court to enforcement. The debt collection measures create extra costs for the customer and a payment default entry.

Intrum Oy manages the collection of Finnvera's domestic overdue receivables as an agent. You can find the contact information in the invoice sent by Intrum.
