Growth and renewal are key priorities of our new strategy. Our goal is to increase Finnish exports and the number of export companies. The implementation of the strategy is supported by a skilled personnel and the effective use of digitalisation, data and artificial intelligence.
Boosting the economy into a new growth will be crucial from the perspective of Finnish society and prosperity. Finnvera’s task is, by means of financing, to promote the internationalisation and exports of enterprises, correct the deficiencies in financing services, and contribute to regional development in Finland. Our operations are sustainable and responsible.

The strategy for 2027–2030 places emphasis on:

How Finnvera creates value
Finnvera’s operations are described in the value creation model which provides information about the company’s most significant resources, business model and strategic foundation, and describes the key impacts of the company’s operations on the surrounding society.
Our activities are responsible
Sustainability is the foundation of Finnvera's operations, and as a responsible provider of financing, our work is underpinned by risk-based assessments and internationally recognised standards. We incorporate the impacts of climate change in our financing decisions as well as our asset and risk management. We set goals for as well as measure and report on not only the climate and biodiversity impacts of the projects we finance but also our own operations. We will promote the management of human rights risks. We see to good corporate governance and comprehensive quality control. Risk management ensures our long-term self-sustainability.
