De minimis aid

De minimis aid is public support that is not considered to distort competition and trade between EU Member States.

De minimis aid encompasses all public support to enterprises that is not notified to the European Commission or that is not granted as a block exemption.

According to the Regulation on de minimis aid, the maximum amount of aid that a company may receive from the various authorities is EUR 200,000 over a three-year period.
