The new website is intended for all foreign enterprises, organisations and immigrants establishing and starting a business in Finland. The main contents of the service consist of a guide to entrepreneurs about to establish a business in Finland. In addition, instructions concerning e.g. permit, taxation and customs matters and the labour market can be easily accessed. The link lists are versatile, and both topical articles and notices are published on the site, meeting the needs of the target group. Enterprise Finland is also Finland's information package for the online service of the 11 Member States of the Council of Baltic Sea States www.balticmarket.org.
'Yritys-Suomi' www.yrityssuomi.fi is an online service available in Finnish and Swedish, coordinated by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, which is intended for enterprises, entrepreneurs, would be entrepreneurs and developers of SME activities. It is an uncomplicated channel for the user to access public services. The SME Foundation develops the website with its collaborators, and it is ready to increase the number of the service content providers. This development is part of Finnish business policy operated through a network. Finpro, an organisation for foreign trade; Sitra, the Finnish National Fund for Research and Development; the National Technology Agency, Tekes; Finnvera, a specialist financing company; Finnish Industry Investment Ltd and an Employment and Economic Development Centre are the Ministry of Trade and Industry's partners that are contributing to the website.
